Yoga

YOGA CLASSES
Yoga classes provide children with a space to learn, breathe, relax and have fun in a safe, non-competitive environment. Children delight in learning poses that resemble animals and elements of nature. Poses like Cobra, Lion and Tree invite a let's pretend environment. Balancing poses, eye exercises and 'breath-play' help children achieve inner focus and calm.  During group classes, partner poses create a sense of cooperation and community.  As their physical ability develops, children gain insight into inner strength and ability to sustain concentration.  At the conclusion of the class, deep relaxation helps children learn to relax and nurture themselves. Through yoga, children learn that their bodies can be more flexible and creative than they had ever imagined.

All supplies and equipment are provided. Please come to class wearing loose, comfortable clothing.
